"technology and a practicum teacher"

Yesterday I went to my student teacher friend. I asked her a lot of question about her experiences in teaching. The first thing that i asked her is, did she used technology in teaching and she said "yes".
She uses power point thrice only to discuss her lessons because she doesn't have her own laptop to use, she only borrows from her cousin. She says that everytime she uses power point, her pupils are motivated.They are more interested to listen if she used powerpoint than the visual aids because nowadays children loves to use technologies and we as a teacher must always find ways on what to do inorder for us to deliver our demonstration perfectly.
I also asked her if is there's an advantage of using technology and she says "yes". First reason is less expenses because she don't need to buy manila papers. One more thing is effortless because she don't need to write on her visual aids creatively. The disadvantage of using power point on her demonstration is that, one of her pupil has an eye defect. The child can't clearly read their lessons.So all i can say is, we as a teacher must be aware on the different situations of our pupils before using technology in teaching.
